Recent ActivityThis page is for anyone in the Burroughs community who likes doing math. It is the primary source of information about comptetitions (we participate in 3: MATHCOUNTS, all AMC competitions, and the 9-12th grade Excellence in Mathematics Competition). Check the calendar for dates.

Cut-the-knot.orgSite has MANY theorems, facts, proofs, games, etc., with difficulty levels from high-school through advanced topics. Good for hours of math browsing. MATHCOUNTS homepageBurroughs participates in MATHCOUNTS (7th and 8th grade only). The site has materials for practice and for fun at this age level. Wolfram's MathworldOnline reference for almost any important mathematical fact, name or vocabulary item. Difficulty of articles depends on topic, but can range from easy to absurdly difficult. | ||
